Tom is the founder and CEO of Voxer. Voxer is a hybrid between a live walkie-talkie and a Group Messaging App and is redefining how people talk to each other. Tom also co-founded Triple Canopy, a security company that he bootstrapped into an international business with over 7,000 employees. He is a decorated combat veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets). During his military service, Tom earned the Bronze Star and Combat Infantryman's badge. Tom put his business career on hold after September 11, 2001 to re-enlist in the Army. He returned to active duty with a Special Forces team and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2002 and 2003. Prior to that Tom was a Vice President at Netcentives, which built large-scale consumer marketing systems. As a Vice President at Citicorp, Tom was one of the founders of the Internet and ecommerce group and was the head of Internet Payment System development. He is a graduate of Yale University with a BA in Ethics, Politics and Economics.
